Dell19's first PBEM at CDZ! Would one of my fellow mapmakers be so kind to make us a nice map?

Diff.: Monarch
Map: Standard Pangea, everything else mid-setting
Balance: the usual
Barbs: restless ;)
AI: 6, no preferences
Patch: 1.15

Dell19 plays Japan, Beam plays India. Let's play Dell, 2, 3, 4, Beam, 6, 7, 8. Beam to report interturn events.

Dell, please confirm if these are the settings we want to play on.

Meantime we will discuss the rules which basically does not affect the map.

I can make the Biq, but maybe not the map. So I hope that another mapmaker can do that tomorrow. Anyway, got it.

Aggie [groucho]

Dell, a typical ruleset for CDZ PBEMs can be found in this thread: http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1306

If we don't agree any other rules that's it.

I normally prefer to play with no MA / MPP vs. the other human player or a very strict limitation.

I'll be more than happy to discuss any proposal from you of course!

Finally some work for the mapmakers [rant]

I don't mind excluding MA vs human players but I would have thought it would be difficult to completely block MPP as they may hurt a human player when their original purpose was against the AI, so we could perhaps keep them. Feel free to give me an example of why it should be banned and effectively :)

The rules seem fair.

MPP is MPP indeed, the only way this can work is by disallowing MPP for all Human players. If you want to keep MPP fine with me [evil];)

I finished the biq, but C3C crashes when I try multiplayer (my old pc - I don't want to check why...). Could another mapmaker help me with checking the biq and creating the save?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot Sky!

Dell, you are the first player. If you want to play ladder just sent a mail to civ3ladder AT cqp.nl for registration.

We usually create an entry in the Open Thread in the PBEM forum and post starting position but that's not mandatory. For a spoiler I offer you to create one in my PBEM forum and use it until you have decided to open your own forum. We don't read each others spoilers of course!

Ok just downloaded the save, it would be nice for it to be a ladder game some I am emailing the address you gave me. Is there anything special I need tot do to start a PM, or do I just load the save?

How do you get your own forum here? In the meantime I will take up your offer of using your forum :)

Aggie
