A scorching day at chrisju's Arena, where 4842 spectators were in place for today´s match. People from all of Eindhoven had joined up for the derby. chrisjus had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Kanthuis - Decheiver, Benschop, Beugels, Doensen - van Bergen, Runsink, Koning, Elshof - van Bussel, Oonk.

Aristocats had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Henriksen - Royle, Dominkovic, Eichinger, Gunning - Claessens, Korsten, Buurman, Salman - Timmers, Poldervaart.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Aristocats. 0 - 1 was a funny story: the seemingly nonchalant lob from Aristocats´s Sicco Timmers landed at the feet of Sleiman Salman who sent it into the net - goal! chrisjuss Dick Oonk got himself booked after a foul. In the 8:th minute Aristocats put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Falko Claessens. Aristocats´s Falko Claessens received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 10:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 3. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. The structure of the game started to change as Aristocats decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. After the ball got lifted in from the left Sicco Timmers was on his own in the home side´s penalty area 27 minutes into the game, and should have scored, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The game had been on for 34 minutes when Sicco Timmers broke through to the right, upping the score to the home crowd´s dismay. Aristocats´s were up 0 - 4. The referee showed chrisjuss Bryan van Bussel the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 0 - 4 was the half-time score. Aristocats held the ball, with a clear 77 percent possession rate.

Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 59:th minute Aristocats goal, making it 0 - 5. Falko Claessens was noted down as the scorer. By then Falko Claessens was a three time scorer - a hat trick! The referee showed chrisjuss Marnix van Bergen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In the 74:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as Niels Poldervaart finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. In the game´s 78:th minute a free kick by Jesper Gunning found it´s way through the home side´s poorly assembled defensive formation, making Aristocats´s lead 0 - 7. chrisjuss Thijs Benschop got himself booked after a foul. After 84 minutes Aristocats´s Jesper Gunning contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. Aristocats, bringing the final ball possession rate to 77 percent, dominated the battle.

The most dominating chrisjus player was without a doubt Thijs Benschop. Dick Oonk on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Aristocats player was Renato Dominkovic. However, Jesper Gunning made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 7.

Sticla tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Abolafio Martíne - Spiridon, Gheorghe, Albescu - Roland Olsen, Pahontu, Turcu, Buzoianu - Bos, Timou, Palmer.

Dan Văduva received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 18:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. 19 minutes into the game Dan Pahontu was a hair´s breadth away from giving Sticla the lead. A prompt block by Jon Hallholt saved the home team that time. After a fine move down the middle Laur Pena nearly gave the home side one up in the 19:th minute. The finishing shot went just wide, though. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 0. Madrid, bringing the final ball possession rate to 52 percent, dominated the battle.

It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why Gheorghe Buzoianu found unusually much space for his snappy footwork. After a fine move down the middle Eugen Neculcea nearly gave the home side one up in the 75:th minute. The finishing shot went just wide, though. In the 78:th minute the home side were awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant. Cristi Micu easily put the 1 - 0 goal away for Madrid. The crowd was silenced in the 83rd minute as the visiting teams Tyree Timou came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. Madrid took the lead in the 84:th minute after a magnificent free kick. Cristi Micu adjusted the score to 2 - 1. The visitors didn´t give in and after 85 minutes Nik Bos got through the home sides central line of defense, rolling in the levelling goal to make it 2 - 2. Sticla, bringing the final ball possession rate to 51 percent, dominated the battle.

The most dominating Madrid player was without a doubt Jon Hallholt. Richard Kammer on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Sticla player was Stefan Turcu. However, Gheorghe Buzoianu made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
Not the best start, considering that I want to win the league this season.

united tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: MacAchounich - MacPhillip, Russell, Shortall, Innes - Muller, McGoldrick, Bethune, Kotchev - Preater, Todd.

Manglers seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Mark Bryan gave his Manglers the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Manglers´s Ed Knell putting the lead up to 2 - 0. By now Manglers were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. The referee showed uniteds Timothy MacPhillip the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Manglers´s Roddy Carroll had an excellent opportunity in the 30:th minute, shooting on a through ball, but he missed the goal by miles! In the 35:th minute Manglers put themselves up 3 - 0. The visitors defenders lost the ball to Andy Quigley-Parks coming up from the left, who proceeded to cooly round the goaltender and knock the ball home. Chris Russell behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 36:th minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. In the 37:th minute Manglers put themselves up 4 - 0. The visitors defenders lost the ball to Roddy Carroll coming up from the left, who proceeded to cooly round the goaltender and knock the ball home. 4 - 0 was the half-time score. Manglers, bringing the final ball possession rate to 89 percent, dominated the battle.

After 46 minutes Andy Quigley-Parks put Manglers ahead 5 - 0 as he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, united´s Tommy McGoldrick got himself booked. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put Manglers lead up with 6 - 0. Ed Knell finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Manglers´s Aatmaj Venkataraman putting the lead up to 7 - 0. Manglers held the ball, with a clear 95 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Manglers player was without a doubt Walsh Greenwood. However, Sandy Cabezas made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating united player was without a doubt Mathew Preater. Hamish Bethune on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 7 - 0.

A badly positioned defensive formation on a free kick in the 1st minute led to advendo57´s Peter Vintges giving the visitors the lead 0 - 1. Toon Niezing pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, in the 6:th minute, wove through the guests whole central defense line and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. In the 15:th minute PPs Yuri Kloppenberg received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. advendo57 were forced to a substitution as Peter Vintges couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Rien Naan to come in from the sidelines. The visiting teams Luciano de Boer could score the 2 - 2 equaliser in the 17:th minute with a header, after some good work on the right. advendo57 had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially in the 21st minute when Gilles Valeton came up alone against Milowit Chalbinski who managed a block. Halftime score was 2 - 2. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by PP, with an impressive 62 percent possession of the ball.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field put PP lead up with 5 - 2. Toon Niezing finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. At that, Toon Niezing was noted down for a hat trick. The structure of the game started to change as PP decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 72 minutes might have resulted in another goal for PP. However, Rien Naan made a spectacular save. In the 77:th minute PP´s Jarl Kiilerich tried to nail the coffin shut, but the shot rebounded off the bar to fall behind the net. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by PP, with an impressive 70 percent possession of the ball.

Most important PP player was Toon Niezing. Rendert Bakker on the other hand, had a terrible day. advendo57´s best player was Gilles Valeton. Rien Naan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 2.

The match results where good, I'm happy with them. Spectator numbers where very disappointing however. I think it's the fact that 162 supporters deserted me last season. Today 2 supporters joined my club, which is a first in PP SV's history. I have 3 home matches in my first 4 games and I hope a larger crowd turns up because at this rate I'll be bankcrupt in 20-25 weeks. [cry]

NO worries now however. 20 weeks is a lot of time, so I aim to improve my results and get a bigger crowd and hopefully get a good youthpull too.

My best league match so far, and it was a PIC. I had a poor midfield up against a disastrous one. Unfortunately, one of my midfielders was taken out for 7 weeks with an injury (downgraded to 6 today) and two of my other players were bruised.
