Hi All,
Nice forum you ppl have here, good job anarres :),
Im a newb to pbem and am looking for a PTW 1.14f game. I would say I am an emperor level player but i do beat the ai on deity as well occaisonally.
quite as good as he is... and yes, if you bribe me well enough i will tell you all his dirty little secrets [:p]]
I can play an hour or two most nights but turns will sometimes be every other day instead of every day. I am on the crappiest dial-up imaginable at the moment and have to share a phone with others so sometimes I can't get net access till late in the evening blah blah etc etc - but don't be put off, just be aware that i cant guarantee an instant turn-around, and power-sessions are pretty much out right now unfortunately.
I will see games through though, have no fear!
if anyones still interested for a leisurely game then let us know your preferences and we can get started. I'm not too fussy on options but nothing too large map-wise, else my poor little overheated cpu gets all slooow.
EDIT: after digger's threadjacking stunt, I'll try if I can do some thread splitting, like a real moderator;)
