How he got the idea that he could battle my Viks with Celts - no idea...
As soon as I met him, i declared war to keep him from establishing an embassy and find me. The islands are exactly the same but ofr a sinlge tile of grass that makes his start non-coastal. means, my Zerks can#t reach his capital from the sea. But, i have a very good idea of what is under the dark fog.....
We are @ turn 170, and my invasion force is close to ready. I have Leos, upgraded 10 Archers and triggered my GA against the Arabs, a neighbour that never really developed and is cannon fodder now.

I have enough money to investigate a few towns, but I bet he has a huge numebr of units near the island chain. I probed a bit and saw 5 Galleys......
He never made a real push to meet my Ais - I THINK he still has no idea that he can reach my mainland without suicide Galleys. I was fearing an attack all the time until i got Pikes....
a second attack will go east, not west:

as can be seen, I can cross over at will. Irigy is fighting the Cutch atm, after killing off Egypt and Mongols (whom I had bought against him on contact). I will continue to build Zerks and send out galleys to harass him in all places. Gunpowder is close (5 IIRC), then I will build a few Muskets to go after his capital. the Eastern Attack should draw troops away from that area.....
After that, beeline for larger ships :D
