Colonisation is the greatest sid game of them all, it has been scientifically proven.

I am going to start a col sg next week with whoever else wants to play, meli has uploaded some tips and tricks (in a very strange format [scratch]) - ask a mod/admin for a link.

and here's some faqs I found on the net :icon_paperclip.gif colfaqs.zip (http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/uploaded/DrAlimentado/2004130151231_colfaqs.zip)

and there's a manual in pdf format on this page (http://www.bhlegend.com/php/show.php3?game=55)

I propose we play on the america map on a not too easy level, whos interested?

I'm in. I can't promise that I've got a lot of time to play...

to keep the game quick(er) we could go for a real streamlined approach, ie. 5CC max. You can beat this game on viceroy (deity) with 1 colony if you abuse the ai ;)

I must point out that I tried to install and run SMAC on my PC a few months ago. Didn't work :( I was merely making a hidden statement: SMAC is the best in my book.

Pah.

That's just not true [:p]

We could start a low level, so all newbies could join as well. Or they'd have to adapt to a steep learning curve.

Colonization?! [eek]

If only I hadn't lost my copy :(

I could'nt find my copy either, but after careful inpection of the links above...i found it ;)

I upgraded to the windows version. Sound doesn't work, but i guess thats because it was'nt designed to run on XP. I relised that i can hardly remember a thing about this game. Would'nt have clue what civ to pick. Better start reading the links at the top of the thread.

The way I read 'col sg' you will be subjected to a nice collective CDZ gangbang [mwaha].. In that case, count me out, but you might want to consider dropping by the meeting@PP's ;)
