Pop up notification is not needed IMO, the shiny red "1 new" thing is quite clearly arranged.

But, since it's possible to use links to uploaded files (btw, you could also even use img tags for improved PM-spamming:D), would you mind including a direct upload feature (unless I missed this somehow)?

One request could the PM logo on each post (next to the Edit button) NOT be RED please? it really stands out much too much and hurts my eye [sad]

I just added pop-up notification for new PMs!

This is how it's supposed to work:

1) When you recieve a new PM a pop up is sent (the next time you request a forum page). Note: You won't ever get a PM notice without opening a forum page (includes main page).

2) This sets a flag to say "member X has been sent a PM popup". You will not receive any more pop-ups until this flag is reset!

3) The flag is reset when you either log off and on again, or when you have read a PM.

The idea of the flag is to stop you getting flooded with pop-ups, much in the way the subscription emails don't send more than 1 for each thread (until you visit the forum). The difference with the pop-ups is that you would get a pop-up for every page you visited if the flag wasn't set.

I was either just timed-out or got a lot of error messages while browsing or posting.

The first pic did only show 2 posts of a thread that already contained more than 2 posts etc

and for the record: I tried the upload link next to the quick reply box to get the stuff above into this post, but the upload/browse window was just empty... (retried a few times until it worked correctly).

Maybe it has to do with all the changes that you made recently?

edit: and it took me actually ~5 minutes to submit this post...

It would appear that anarres has changed the Forum so that posts edited within 5 minutes of posting no longer show as edited, as in my previous.
