Galley attacks coastal city!

Ok. In the interturn, Russia proposes to continue our RoP agreement. I agree. Moments later, I get the message that the Russians have declared war on me! Ok, nothing wrong so far.
Now, a russian galley drops a spear/setler combo on my turf, then the galley proceeds to attack a coastal city of mine! My brave spear defends, losing 2 hp, but defeating the galley! WTF!!![eek]

The save:

Instructions. do as you please, just end turn or attack the romans some more. do not hussle with the southern part. Check what happens in the Interturn. accept the RoP by russia as she offers it.
I'd like to know if this happens with all players...

IIRC it is a known Conquests bug for ships to attack coastal cities. :(

Well, it is mentioned in CFC's bug report - I think a minor issue to fix.
Remember how long it took to get Civ1.07 to 1.29 and you probably enjoyed 1.07 anyways; that, and I know a ton of games where developers gave a shit offering patches.
