Me and Meli had a great conversation during one of the downtimes too! Will get the log and see what times it happened.

Well I couldnt access the forum or the last 30mins from home - but I can access it now from work.

Maybe its a DNS problem with the BT DNS servers. This network uses different DNS servers and has no problems.

:hmm

While col could not access the site, we had a chat on MSM and both myself and Killer could actually access the forum when col couldnt...

Yep, it definitely sounds like a DNS problem then, although after a week it should have stabilised by now. [???]

Couldn't access the site at 14.37 or 14.47 or 16.18 or 16.30.

However I could this morning and now obviously [:p]

I could not see the site, but I did not receive the "This Page cannot be displayed" message.

The Windows Title Bar did indeed say that I was at the Civ3 Duel Zone and looking at the forums now there have been posts since I could get on that are not showing as "New Posts" (ie Pink Folder), so the forums seem to think I logged on when I couldnt see the site earlier.

Stranger and stranger.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS TO BE A DNS PROBLEM

PS. Could it be that by donating some cash I have in fact been black listed (or at least grey listed) ?? [:p]

EDITED: Didnt mean the red to be that big [blush]

Just for the record, and extensively discussed over MSN. Imo it has something to do with balancing the load of the cdz domain that is new to the server.

My 2 cents.

Thanks Beam. :)

I contacted our ISP yesterday and they said they've had network problems ongoing all this week, and have asked us to note any further downtime in any future correspondance with them. Also, if anyone has noticed extremely slow response can you please take note of that as well, and post all info in this thread.

At least this way we can show their servers are being unresponsive and we will be able get moved to a better server (if indeed that is the problem).
