OK
I thought I'd look at this.
My cities are as such.

It is a standard map and there are 7 random AI on a continent far, far away.
Its a regent map, but apart from the OCN (which is 20) I feel it accounts for little.
The cities were settled as numbered (except the capital, that was first).
In case my RCP was a little rusty (which direction counts as 1.5 again?)
I settled the vertical and horizontal cities first. Then filled in with the diagonals. So two rings if not one.
All cities as you can see produce 10 shields gross. Corruption was as follows:-

If we then adjust the lux slider so that all citizens are at least content this happens (WLTKD's all round!)

Interesting huh?
Check the shields wasted to corruption in each case, both in WLTKD and not.

PS. WLTKD's are pretty neat, you can set one up and starve the population to do
so and gain the reduced corruption next turn. The shields you recieve between turns use
the next turns WLTKD corruption.
Of course my size 6 cities dont show much good for the effort required, but imagine size 12 cities...
