Beam wants to invite CFC members at his house to play PTW (or some other (board/cards-)game) for a weekend. He lives in Breda.

Anybody interested?

Are there still plans open? I would sign in for a boardgame of diplomacy!

Sounds cool, allthough I never played that game (but I know what it is about)! I used to play Axis and Allies, World at War and Europa at War (and Risk of course)!

Erikk: I have played risk 12.547 times. later I have played A&A 1.346 times. I have played diplomacy only 3 times. Diplomacy takes more time and more players.
IMHO, diplomacy is the best boardgame ever! Why? I lacks the luck factor! No dices involved.

The basics are easy: For each army every player wrights down (at the same time) what to do.
There are only four options:
-Defend (i.e. do nothing)
-Move (i.e. attack)
-Mutual defense
-Support an attacking army.

After all players have written down their moves, everyone hands them in to 'the playmaster'. Only one outcome is possible! Before each 'writing round' a diplomacy round is played. There are no rules: the time is used to make agreements, which may be broken......
