Tiny pangea for 4 player pbem MAP MADE

Does/can anyone out there have/make a map for a 4 player pbem game I'm trying to setup?

I'd like a tiny, pangea map. Any help is appreciated.

Tiny map, pangea, medium aged world, no ai.

blackwizzard - rome
Lt. Killer M - babylon
Plux - aztecs
Moff Jerjerrod - celts

I put a lot of care in the balance, watch out its a real tiny map, no complaint about crammed start yeah ? ;)

Thanks a million Skyfish! I dl'd the map. Eagerly awaiting my turn!

So does player one go first, then email to player 2, etc. etc.

The reason why I ask is because this is my first PBEM game.

Yes you did not need to dl it : Black Wizzard needs to dl it open it and play his turn.
He will then send it on to Killer who will send it on to Plux, etc...
Two things to watch out for :
- Be sure to type a pw when you play the game for the first time and the screen asks you for one (and to remember it ;))
- NEVER load a PBEM while still playing a game, always go back to the MENU screen before loading the PBEM !

How is everyone? Do we all still have an interest in playing this game? If not I would like to withdraw as this has dragged on long enough with no real progress.

1-on-1's are always a good way to get started. Often in the bigger games someone gets demotivated and drags the game, and they can be tough to progress at times.

I suggest that we load the save files into our C3C directories from now on and see if that will work. I did try by accident one day loading one of our save games in C3C and it did work with no problems. The only problem that might exist would be corruption calculations and tech discrepencies.

It can't hurt to try though. If this doesn't work then maybe it's time to hang it up......I agree that constantly changing cd's and loading ptw/c3c is getting cumbersome.

I can play the game just fine with the PTW install that came with C3C [???], which loads pretty quickly on my pc so I suggest that Killer just applies for an upgrade ;).

OTOH, IIRC when I first got C3C I also loaded PTW-saves into C3C, which appeared to go smoothly, but I think I got some error messages later on, so I'm not sure if the approach suggested by MJ will work. But let's try and see how far we get :)

Plux: PTW leaves HUGE aounts of BS in my PCs memory - and not even memfix - programs can clear it :(

loading PTW games in C3C is fine unless one uses a C3C early version crack AFAIK.

I don't know but Plux emailed me several weeks ago and said he'll be away for a while. He said that Stalpel will take his place but haven't heard a thing from anyone.

I dont know if you have installed MSN, if so I advise you to add your fellow players to your contact list. That way you'll know when they're online and you can give em a nudge so they'll play the game. Works wonders!
